Warehouse Supervisor / Mover

Rooms With Style, a dynamic home staging company in Apple Valley, MN, is seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Supervisor / Mover to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations and ensuring safe delivery of items, directly impacting our ability to create beautiful, styled homes for our clients.

  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of moving items to and from staging locations. Plan and oversee the loading and unloading of staging materials. Coordinate incoming deliveries of new inventory.

    Quality Control: Regularly inspect inventory for damage and wear, and perform or coordinate necessary repairs and cleaning to maintain the highest quality standards; inspecting deliveries to ensure received inventory is in excellent condition. May include assembly of new inventory.

    Space Organization: Efficiently organize and maintain the warehouse space to ensure easy access to items and a safe working environment.

    Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory, including furniture, decor, and staging materials. Ensure accurate tracking, storage, and maintenance of all items.

    Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload furniture and other items from trucks, ensuring proper handling and securing of inventory and utilizing appropriate equipment for efficiency.

    Packing and Wrapping: Pack and wrap items securely to prevent damage during transit.

    Transportation: Drive and operate moving box trucks in a safe and responsible manner while following timelines to meet scheduled appointments.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with the owner and staging team to understand staging needs and ensure timely and effective delivery of services.

    Safety and Compliance: Ensure all warehouse and moving activities comply with safety standards and company policies.

    Integrity and Customer Service: Interact with clients and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. Have ownership in your role and job expectations.

    Physical Stamina: Possess the physical strength and stamina required to lift and move heavy items throughout the day, while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.

  • Part-Time Position: 20 hours per week, ideally 3 days per week

    Schedule Flexibility: Monday to Friday with rare weekend or evening work during peak periods. Hours may vary daily based on project needs.

    Overtime Availability: Opportunity for overtime during high-demand seasons (typically March - September).

    • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (background check required)

    • Previous experience in moving and driving a box truck (15’ - 26’ truck)

    • Proven experience in supervising warehouse operations or a related field

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Ability to safely lift and move heavy items (solo and in pairs)

    • Good communication and teamwork abilities

    • Knowledge of Google Business Suite (Docs, Sheets, Photos, Drive, etc.) is a plus

    • Passion for real estate and design is advantageous, but not required
